Object Oriented Programming VB.net
O'Reilly and Associates Inc., October 2002 |
Similar to Practical C Programming, Object Oriented Programming with Visual Basic .NET is once again a very average book. It is certaintly better than some books out there - it provides a large number of examples, has some good tips and tricks included, and overall will teach you the begginings of being a decent programmer, it lacks the ability to keep you interested. Other books tear apart the code from a popular open source game or application to show you to code, while keeping your interest. It is a shame that a book with so much potential is so dry as to cause most readers to put it down and grab another. Overall, I would recommend it, after recommending several other books. It is a very average book, not worthy of great applause, yet not deserving of any real trashing.
Overall, this is a wonderful book.
